How to Identify the Type of Essay in IELTS Writing Task 2?

Cause and Solution Essay
The initial part of the question features a statement. Then, you'll discuss the cause and give solutions.
Opinion Essay
The question begins with a statement. Afterward, you'll discuss the issue and provide your opinion.
Advantage and Disadvantage Essay
The question starts with a statement, followed by a discussion of both the benefits and drawbacks of the issue.
Discussion Essay
A statement is provided, and you're tasked with addressing both sides of the argument. You may also be asked to provide your opinion.
Direct Question Essay
The question begins with a statement. You'll then encounter two direct questions, which may or may not be related to the statement.
