What are Tenses?

  • Future tense

Past Tense
Describes actions or states that occurred before the present moment.

Example: She played tennis yesterday.
Present tense
Describes actions or states that are happening right now or are generally true.

Example: She plays tennis every Saturday.
Future tense
Describes actions or states that will happen after the present moment.
